Lipstick Bi-Color Bolero 4” pot

The Bolero Bicolor Lipstick Plant (Aeschynanthus ‘Bolero Bicolor’) is a captivating, pet-friendly tropical trailing houseplant that captivates plant enthusiasts with its striking appearance. Its vibrant red-and-orange tubular flowers resemble lipsticks emerging from maroon tubes, creating a visually appealing display. The plant’s cascading stems are adorned with beautiful green foliage, accented with creamy white or yellow variegation, adding to its allure.

To ensure the healthy growth of the Bolero Bicolor Lipstick Plant, it requires specific care. It thrives in bright, indirect light, which promotes consistent blooming throughout the year. However, it’s essential to avoid harsh, direct afternoon sun, as it can scorch the variegated leaves. When watering, ensure thorough watering until the top 1 to 2 inches of soil feel dry. Proper drainage is crucial to prevent root rot, so it’s recommended to use a loose, airy, and fast-draining potting mix, enriched with perlite or fine bark. During its active growing season, which spans from spring to summer, the plant benefits from monthly feeding.
