Sempervivum heuffelii 'Red Charm' (Smits): A vibrant, eye-catching cultivar that's rare in collections. True to its name, 'Red Charm' holds its red pigments well through the seasons. It has nice, wide leaves with a fringe of cilia that highlights the whole plant. As it offsets each year it can mound into a neat colony. S. heuffelii are super frost hardy and drought tolerant. They thrive outdoors year-round and hold vibrant colors through the seasons. To produce vegetative offsets, a mother plant will divide and develop into a neat cluster of new rosettes.
